stackable graduate certificate is designed primarily for K-12 educators or other related practitioners who seek to advance their technology integration and digital equity design skills for curricular and instructional work with K-12 learners. The program builds technology leaders committed to digital equity and justice. The program requires completion of four graduate-level courses (12 semester credit hours) and is available to degree-seeking and non-degree-seeking students. Curriculum and Instruction: Secondary English Urban Teaching
The Curriculum and Instruction: Secondary English Urban Teaching stackable graduate certificate is designed primarily for postbaccalaureate students seeking teacher certification in secondary English, and who seek to develop and strength knowledge, dispositions, and skills for teaching in culturally and linguistically diverse contexts. The program requires completion of three graduate-level courses (nine semester credit hours) and completion of 50 hours of observation in an Austin-area middle or secondary classroom. The program is available to degree-seeking and non-degree-seeking students. One course is offered online and two courses are in-person. Observation hours in middle and secondary classrooms take place in person.Â

The Curriculum and Instruction: Secondary English Urban Teaching Practicum stackable graduate certificate is designed primarily for postbaccalaureate students seeking teacher certification in secondary English, and who seek to develop and strength knowledge, dispositions, and skills for teaching in culturally and linguistically diverse contexts. The program requires completion of a semester-long clinical teaching experience in Austin-area schools and two graduate level courses. The program is available to degree-seeking and non-degree-seeking students. One graduate course is offered in a dual-mode format and one graduate course is offered in person. Clinical teaching in middle and secondary classrooms takes place in person.Â
